A Sports Fan Experience
PROJECT SUMMARY
A Sports Fan Experience is an in-depth study of a multipurpose stadium user experience that captures the current state and desired future state of a confidential client. The goal is to better understand the pain points and opportunities of ticket holder activity to inform a planned renovation project aiming to enhance the fan experience. Focused on premium spaces, it included informal fan interviews, on-site observation and behavior mapping using a proprietary digital tool documenting key behaviors. The data collection tool provides time-stamped data that documents key behaviors within given spaces. Insights from the data and design charrettes with the client and design team generated major change recommendations and prioritization of investment for the highest impact. My role was to ensure proper data collection, on-site coordination, and to curate the data processing of analysis and visualization of the data. I also co-led the insights breakdown as assisted with distilling the data into meaningful insights that present critical design goals. |
